A local level in Nawalparasi has initiated schemes to provide employment to poor and COVID-19 hit families instead of doling out relief fund during the ongoing lockdown. The local governments have created opportunities in infrastructure development through participation of the locals who are in need of employment in different locations. 

Hupsekot Rural Municipality has ensured participation of 445 locals in different developmental works, said Administrative Officer Krishna Sapkota. The local level is working to ensure the vehicular movement in all seasons along the Danda-Jhare Bhanjyang by upgrading its standards. The road section is in a dilapidated condition and is awaiting immediate maintenance and upgrade.
