Citizens Bank has earned a net profit of Rs 875.19 million in the second quarter of the current fiscal year.The bank has increased its net profit by 27.26% as compared to the same period last year. Last year, it had earned a profit of Rs 687.71 million. As of mid-January, the bank’s distributable profit was Rs 848.04 million.Citizens’ net interest income and operating profit also improved, and net profit also increased.
Similarly, non-operating income has also increased. Net interest income increased by 12.39% to Rs. 1.61 billion by the end of the second quarter.Similarly, the operating profit of the bank has increased by 21.56% and reached Rs. 1.16 billion.
