Mahalaxmi Development Bank Limited has welcomed and congratulated the Mount Ketu Arohan Group, which set a world record by successfully ascending the world’s second highest mountain Ketu (8,611 m), known as “Jyanmara Himal” in Pakistan.
In a congratulatory program organized at the bank’s head office on Friday, Rajesh Upadhyay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, presented a cash prize of Rs.500,000 and certificates to the mountaineers group.Climber Mr. Nirmal Purja said that this honor given by the bank has given him more encouragement for adventurous work. The event was attended by members of the Mount Ketu Arohan Group, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and members and staff of the Bank.
