Nepal Bangladesh Bank has made public its financial statements for the second quarter of the current fiscal year. The bank has increased its net profit by 16.52% to Rs 941.25 million. The bank had earned a profit of Rs 807.77 million in the same period last year.
According to the public financial statement, the bank’s earnings per share has increased by Rs 2.19 to Rs 22.16 and net worth per share is Rs 165.50. Similarly, distributable profit has also increased by 5.16% and reached Rs. 467.73 million.Operating profit also increased by 18.89% to Rs. 1.33 billion. Meanwhile, the bank’s net interest income declined by 8.01% to Rs 1.24 billion.
