Sanima Bank’s net profit has declined in the second quarter of the current fiscal year. The bank’s profit declined by 7.38% to Rs 1.62 billion. The bank had earned a profit of Rs 1.14 billion in the same period last year.By mid-December, the bank’s earnings per share had also declined by Rs 4.13 from last year to Rs 22.2 and its net worth per share was Rs 140.28.
The bank’s distributable profit till mid-year is Rs. 892.67 million. Net interest income and operating profit declined by 7.98% and 7.28%, respectively. Which has affected the net profit. The bank has collected Rs 110.24 billion in deposits and invested Rs 101.64 billion in loans.The paid-up capital of Sanima is Rs 9.68 billion. The bad debt has increased from 0.41% last year to 0.58% now.
