Alka Hospital Pvt. launched  the e-appointment platform in collaboration with Nepal’s leading payment service provider Esewa and Cogent Health. It will also be possible to make online appointments through the Esewa mobile application for treatment and consultation with doctors at Alka Hospital.

Dipendra Pokhrel, CEO and CA of Alka Hospital and Daniel De Shrestha, Managing Director of Cogent Health signed the agreement on behalf of Alka Hospital. Patients will be able to make appointments and pay at home, thus avoiding the hassle of queuing at the hospital and saving time through Esewa. This service will be even more convenient during the current Covid-19 epidemic. Cogent Health Pvt. Ltd. is a newly introduced company in the field of health information technology.

 The company has been developing technology to fully digitalize the management of hospitals and health institutions based on electronic medical records (EMR).Technologies such as Cogent EMR, Cogent EMR Web and Smart Health, including e-appointment and QR payments created by Cogent Health and ISE, are being used in more than 100 hospitals and health institutions across Nepal.
