Kathmandu. The fourth Shangri-La Bicycle Rally organized by Shangri-La Development Bank concluded in a grand manner.
Around 1500 people took part in the cycle rally organized in Kathmandu on June 7 on the occasion of World Environment Day. The rally started from Alice Reception at Gairidhara, Kathmandu and covered a distance of 14 kilometers from Narayanchaur, Durbarmarg, Sundhara, Tripureshwor, Maitighar Mandala, New Baneshwor, Old Baneshwor, Gaushala, Ratopul, Jain Bhawan, Naxal Bhagwati, Bhatbhateni, Shangrila Development Bank’s central office in Baluwatar, and back to Alice Reception, Gairidhara.
The participants of the program were welcomed by Ms. Lisa Sherchan, Member of Board of Shangri-La Development Bank. Likewise, Chief Executive Officer of Shangri-La Development Bank Suyog Shrestha handed over bicycle to Anju Parajuli who won the prize through lucky draw.
Various gift hampers were also provided to the participants through a lucky draw. The Shangrila Development Bank has been organizing cycle rally since 2079 BS with an aim to contribute to the environment and contribute in building cycle culture.
