NIC ASIA Bank provides support to two schools

Kathmandu. As a part of its corporate social responsibility, NIC Asia Bank has provided water dispenser to Shree Saraswati Basic School, Bagar Bayal, Doti, KI Singh Rural Municipality-4 and Laptop, Computer and Projector to Shree Jan Jagriti Secondary School, Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality-12, Sindhupalchowk.

Shree Saraswati Basic School, which has been providing boarding and residential facilities to 21 students from marginalized communities who have no parents, handed over a water dispenser to the Principal of the school, Ramesh Ojha, amid a program held on June 29 at Shree Saraswati Basic School.

Likewise, the bank has provided a laptop, 3 desktop computers and a projector to provide an access to technology to around 450 students of Shree Jan Jagriti Secondary School conducting classes from early childhood development to class 12.

Sophie Adhikari Poudyal, head of the ESG & Sustainable Banking Department of the bank and Amrit Man Shrestha, Circle Head, Banepa jointly handed over laptops, computers and projectors to the school’s school management committee chairman Dipendra Prasad Nepal and the school’s principal Dhruba Raj Giri.

The bank believes that the support provided to the schools will facilitate the learning activities of students and facilitate access to technology along with quality education in the school.
