KATHMANDU: Nepal Medical College (NMC) has decided to provide free medical treatment to the flood-affected and injured people in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts.
The Nepal Medical College (NMC) has decided to provide free health care services to the people affected by the floods in Tibet of China since Bhadra 2083 BS (2083 BS) due to floods in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts.
The college has kept its doctors, health workers, emergency services, hospital beds, essential medical equipment and other necessary resources on standby to provide quality health services to the flood-affected people immediately, easily and in an accessible manner.
Nepal Medical College has said that it has mobilized its health service mechanism in this difficult situation of disaster with the main spirit of ‘protection of human life and access to health services for all’. The college has said that arrangements have been made to provide necessary health care services free of cost so that the citizens who are in distress due to financial constraints do not have to be deprived of treatment.
The college has also been assisting the government, local levels and the general public in the health treatment of the government during natural disasters and emergencies in the country. The college is committed to coordinating and collaborating with the government, health workers, security agencies, local levels, organizations and citizens for the protection and health treatment of the affected citizens.
