Janautthan Community Microfinance Finance is going to pay dividend to its shareholders. The company has announced to pay 52 percent dividend to its shareholders in the last fiscal year. A meeting of the company’s board of directors held on Monday decided to pay a total dividend of 52 percent from last year’s profit with 49.40 percent bonus share and 2.60 percent cash to pay taxes.
Investors will be able to get dividend only after the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank and approval from the next annual general meeting. Microfinance has proposed the dividend at the existing paid up capital of Rs 79.2 million. After the proposed bonus distribution, the capital will reach Rs.1183.24 million. Last year, the microfinance company distributed 25 percent bonus shares and 1.32 percent cash dividend.
