Gold prices fell on Monday, the second day of trading this year. Hallmark gold, which was trading at Rs 91,800 per ounce on Sunday, has dropped by Rs 200 today to Rs 91,600 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable at Rs 1,230 per ounce. The Federation of Nepali Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs has fixed the price of gold at Rs 78,535 per 10 grams and Rs 1,054.50 per 10 grams of silver today.
