Kathmandu. Nerude Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has completed a two-day training. The microfinance company has conducted a two-day training on loan discipline and field performance enhancement for the field assistants.

A total of 156 employees from 67 branch offices under the jurisdiction of Koshi Province participated in the training. The training was organized by Hile, Itahari, Biratnagar, Udayapur, Urlabari, Birtamode, Ilam and Phidim cluster offices of the province.

The training was organized in Itahari, Biratnagar, Damak, Birtamode, Ilam and Lahan, according to Rajesh Shrestha, chief of Human Resource Management Management.

The main objective of the training was to improve the knowledge, skills and behavior of the field assistant staff in loan recovery, overdue loan management, quality of meeting center, customer relationship management and practical skills in effective implementation of the policies and directives issued by the organization. The training was facilitated by the team of Dinesh Katuwal and Raju Shrestha, Birkha Bahadur Bohora, Shambhu Ghising, Raghunath Subedi and Ghanashyam Chaudhary.

Chief Executive Officer of the organization Keshav Prasad Poudel said that the training is being conducted targeting field assistant employees in all seven provinces with the objective of improving the quality of service delivery, strengthening the credit management system and achieving excellence in customer service.

Nerude Mirmire Laghubitta has been providing microfinance services to more than 314,000 customers through 225 branches across 61 districts of the country.
