Kathmandu. NMB Bank Ltd. The company is the main investor in the 65 MW Dudh Khola Hydropower Project located in Manang district. Dudh Khola Hydropower Company Pvt. Ltd. is the construction of Dudh Khola Hydropower Project in Manang district. Ltd. It is a hydropower project promoted by the Ministry of Hydropower Corporation.

Dudh Khola Hydro Power Company Pvt. Ltd. Ltd. Mountain Energy Nepal Ltd. is the main investor of Mountain Energy Nepal Ltd. and Sitaram Timilsina’s group. NMB Bank Ltd. Sanima Bank Limited is the co-lead bank and Sanima Bank is the co-lead bank. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs. The bank has invested Rs. 12.90 billion. It will be Rs 9.67 billion. NMB Bank has already invested in more than 50 hydropower projects.

NMB Bank Ltd. Dinesh Dulal, Assistant General Manager of the company, and Arun KC, Chairman of the company, signed the loan agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

In line with the Environmental and Social Risk Management Guidelines, 2022 issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, NMB Bank has been implementing environmental and social policy and management system to ensure responsible investment based on the evaluation of environmental and social aspects of the investment. In line with international good practices, the project was studied and evaluated using the Hydroselect Tool, a preliminary environmental, social and governance test tool developed by the Hydropower Sustainability Alliance (HSA).
