Kathmandu. The chairman of Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIMB) has been released on bail. Prithvi Bahadur Pandey, chairman of the bank , has been released on bail.

He appeared before the Kathmandu District Court on Monday and a bench of Judge Nawaraj Dulal had sought a bail of Rs 40 lakh. He was released after paying the bail amount .

A case was registered against Pandey on August 12 on charges of fraud, Organized Crime and Fraud and {{} Bank and Financial Institution.
