Kathmandu. 4 names have been shortlisted for the post of chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). Member of the National Planning Commission, Dr. The recommendation committee led by Sanjay Acharya has shortlisted the names of 4 candidates for the post of chairman of the board. 

Committee Nawaraj Adhikari, Executive Director of the Board Vinay Dev Acharya, Mukunda Kumar Chhetri and Dr. Gopal Prasad Bhatta’s name has been shortlisted. 

Adhikari is a former executive director of the board. He retired only a month ago. Acharya is the executive director of the board while Chhetri and Bhatta are former executive directors of Nepal Ra stra Bank. 

The Ministry of Finance has summoned four people who are on the shortlist for an interview on May 22. The interview will be held at the Ministry of Finance. 

The Ministry of Finance had initiated the process to appoint the chairman of the board after the then chairman of the board Santosh Narayan Shrestha resigned from the post.A total of 47 people had applied for the post of board president. The names of 4 of them have been shortlisted.
