Kathmandu. On Thursday, the first day of weekly trading, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall. On Monday, the NEPSE index decreased by 16.54 points to close at 2632.96 points.
A total of 76,99,227 units of shares of 351 companies were traded in NEPSE. Shares worth Rs 2.67 billion were traded. Global IME Bank Ltd. was the most traded company today. The company has a turnover of Rs 8.83 crore.
In today’s market, the investors of Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower Company have made the most profits. The company’s share price has risen by more than 14 percent.
On the other hand, the investors of Swabhiman Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited suffered the most. The company’s share price fell by more than 5 percent.
