Kathmandu. Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company has provided financial assistance of Rs 60 lakh for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district.
Chief Executive Officer of the company, Raj Kumar Aryal, handed over a cheque of Rs 6 million to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund through Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.
Mr. Shashank Agrawal, Director of the company, and Mr. Binod Sharma Poudel, Secretary of the company, were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, the company expressed deep condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the disaster and paid tribute to the deceased. It also wished speedy recovery to those injured in the floods.
The company has expressed confidence that the support provided as a part of its social responsibility would further support in dealing with national disasters and in relief distribution and rehabilitation works to the affected families.
