Kathmandu. The government has said that the government has announced a public holiday (Saturday and Sunday) but the news that it is annulling Sunday holiday is not true.
The government has refuted the news that the government has been annulling the public holiday on Sunday and Saturday for two days in a week.
Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s press and research expert Deepa Dahal has said that the news about the cancellation of Sunday’s holiday is not true. “The government has not taken any decision in this regard and there is no preparation in this regard for now,” he said. ‘
Earlier, the meeting of the Council of Ministers on April 5 had decided to give public holidays on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in order to ease life of the people due to the continuous hike in fuel prices caused by the problems in West Asia.
