Kathmandu. The last day of weekly share trading, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall on Tuesday. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 5.30 points to close at 2,594.27 points.

A total of 1,44,164 units of shares of 357 companies were traded in NEPSE. Shares worth Rs 4.10 billion were traded. Makar Jitumaya Suri Hydropower Limited was the top trader today. The company has a turnover of Rs 90.07 crore.

In today’s market, the best paints investors have made the most profits. The company’s share price has risen by more than 14 percent.

On the other hand, the investors of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited suffered the most. The company’s share price has fallen by more than 10 percent.
