At present, the company is selling ‘Sangeet’ brand of new rice throughout the country.

The company has been producing and selling rice in the country in support of the government’s goal of becoming self-reliant in rice . Currently, the company has been selling rice at a reasonable price in the country despite the demand for from abroad.

The company, which has been producing rice through a high-end machine of Japanese technology (Steam of the company’s gold, gold, and jeera is being sold across the country. At present, the company employs 100 people directly and 200 indirectly.

Smart Agro, which had a turnover of Rs 2 billion in the financial year 2082/83, is producing 8 brands of rice. The rice produced by the company is being sold and distributed across the country.

According to Santosh Gupta, managing director of the company, the company aims to bring Nepali products from traditional to scientific and advanced technology to Nepalese kitchen at affordable price.
