Kathmandu. Police have arrested a man on the charge of swindling money on the pretext of sending him to Macau for foreign employment. Police have arrested 45-year-old Rajendra Khadka from Budhanilkantha on the charge of cheating money by promising him a lucrative salary.

According to the police, he swindled the victim of Rs 3.83 lakh. The victim had lodged a complaint alleging that he had gone out of contact after taking the same amount of money to send him abroad. He was arrested on the basis of the complaint.

He has been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment for further investigation and necessary action, police said.
