Kathmandu. The private sector has urged the government to create investment-friendly environment. The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) have issued a joint press release today, urging the government for the security and promotion of the private sector.

Economic stability and investment have been expected to increase with the formation of the new government, he said, stressing that activities that have made significant contribution to nation’s economy and employment generation should not be carried out to discourage the private sector.

“The activities that demoralize investors will affect revenue, employment, supply system and infrastructure development, pushing the banking sector and the entire economic system towards crisis,” the statement said.
