Kathmandu. U. S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran that there are only 48 hours left to open the Strait of Hormuz.

“Remember,” Trump wrote on his own social network, Truth Social Network. I gave Iran ten days to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz. ’

He further wrote, “Time is passing. There are only 48 hours left for the vicious circle to rule them. ’

On March 21, Trump threatened to “destroy” Iran’s largest power plant if it did not fully open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours.

Two days later, he said he was having “very good and productive conversations” with Iranian officials and suspended any attacks on the power plants for the next five days.

He extended the deadline again and made it 10 days. The 19-day deadline will expire at 8:00 p. m. U. S. time. Attacks on civilian energy infrastructure could amount to war crimes, experts say.
