Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepali CommunistParty (NCP) leader Barshaman Pun has expressed his concern over the government’s decision to keep the Property Investigation Commission under the Office of the Prime Minister. Pun, who is also the former Finance Minister, took part in the discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the coming fiscal year.

He accused the government of working in favour of good governance that the commission should be made in a way that suits itself rather than making it independent and empowered.

Leader Pun claimed that the government is in favor of good governance with and not good governance. He also stressed that although the new phase of economic reform plan announced by the government for the improvement of the country’s economy was correct, there should be a clear vision to move it forward.

Likewise, leader Pun stressed the need for the government to pay special attention to resolving the problems seen in the country’s economy.
