Kathmandu. The government has announced a 10 percent discount on digital payments. Unveiling the budget for the coming fiscal year 2083/84, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle made the announcement.
He has announced a provision to give 10 percent VAT discount immediately if digital payment is made while making purchases. Currently, consumers are paying 13 percent tax on VAT.
Similarly, Finance Minister Wagle has announced that capital gains tax will be the final tax.Apart from this, the government has also announced the abolition of excise duty on 360 goods.
