Kathmandu. Businessman Shekhar Golchha has been released. He was released on Tuesday after the Kathmandu District Court ordered not to extend his custody. 

After the court refused to extend the remand,Golchha was released from custody and handed over to his wife, according to an official of the Central Investigation Bureauof Police. 

According to the official, Golchha has been released on the condition that he will be present when required.Earlier, Golchha, who was released on bail of Rs 5 lakh as per the Supreme Court’s mandamus order, was arrested on an insurance charge.
