Kathmandu. In Kailali, people have been arrested for overturning a tempo from a cliff. In the name of removing forest encroachment, they have been arrested for overturning a tempo at Godavari Municipality-4 in Kailali. 

A police official of the District Police Office, Kailali, confirmed that 10 people have been arrested for their involvement in overturning the tempo. 

According to the official, police were mobilized on Sunday morning to arrest them . Employees of the Division Forest Office had pulled the tempo from the cliff while removing the encroachment.

The video of the tempo rolling from the cliff went viral on social media.The government officials had questioned saying that the act was wrong. Police have arrested 10 people in connection with the incident. Further investigation into the incident will be carried out as per the law, police said.
