Kathmandu. Minister for Science and Innovation, Mahabir Pun, has urged state and local governments to invest one percent of their capital expenditure towards science and innovation.

Minister Pun urged the state and local governments to formulate budget bearing in mind that one percent of its capital expenditure should be appropriated in science and innovation sector to receive grants related to science and innovation through social media.

“Our ministry will take important steps to make the country prosperous. “I will continue to impart the culture of development of the country to the federal, provincial and local governments as well as the general Nepali people,” he said. ’
