Kathmandu. On Thursday, the first day of weekly trading, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall. On Monday, the NEPSE index decreased by 26.72 points to close at 2,755.37 points.

A total of 1,33,83,816 units of shares of 349 companies were traded in NEPSE. Shares worth Rs 5.61 billion were traded. Ankhukhola Hydropower Company Limited was the most traded today. The company has a turnover of Rs 43.04 crore.

In today’s market, the investors of Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited have made the highest profit. The company’s share price has increased by more than 14 percent.

On the other hand, the investors of Bungal Hydropower suffered the most. The company’s share price has fallen by more than 13 percent.
