Kathmandu. Parking charges for vehicles staying at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for 15 minutes of pick-and-drop will not be charged.

The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has made arrangement for non-charging fee for 15 minutes while pick-and-drop as per the need of vehicles arriving at and from the airport.

Sanjay Kumar, spokesperson of the airport office, said that the pick-and-drop time has been increased keeping in view the needs of the passengers. He said that the parking fee was not levied for the ‘pick and drop’ for seven minutes, but the time has been extended for further convenience.

“We have made an arrangement not to charge the parking fee for a single month and 15 minutes of pick-and-drop parking for the test. “, he said.
