Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality, Kulraj Poudel, said that the rural municipality has been directed to remove the crusher industries within a month.
The rural municipality has said it will take legal action if any crusher industries except those taking permission for hydropower and development projects are found involved in the excavation of river-based products.
Chief Administrative Officer Poudel said action would be taken if the crusher industry and equipment were not removed within a month effective from June 24.
Five crusher industries are currently in operation in Raghuganga rural municipality, said Bhawa Bahadur Bhandari, chairperson of Raghuganga Rural Municipality. He said, “Chamere of Rahughat Hydropower Project and Crusher Industry of dam construction site, Mona Hydropower and Chitwan Energy have completed the process of construction of the project.” ‘
