Kathmandu. Arjun Chaupari Rural Municipality of Syangja district has decided to provide accident insurance worth up to Rs 1 million to drivers and helpers. The rural municipality has decided to provide accident insurance cover up to Rs 1 million to drivers and helpers operating vehicles in the rural municipality area. 

For this, the rural municipality has included accident insurance program targeting drivers and helpers of public and private vehicles in its annual policy and program.

Under the program, the rural municipality will provide accident insurance up to Rs 1 million to jeep, tempo, tractor, bus and driver and helper working in tipper.

For this, drivers and helpers operating vehicles within the rural municipality have been requested to apply with necessary documents within 7 days.It is believed that the program will help reduce the financial burden on the family due to accidents.
