Kathmandu. Police have arrested a person from the holding centre in Kirtipur. Dambar Bahadur Tamang, 39, was arrested on the charge of being a landless squatter. 

He was arrested on the charge of public and , police said. 

When the government directed the landless squatters living in various holding centers to leave the holding center, Tamang had protested and demanded that he be given Rs 800, 000 and land in Kathmandu. 

Not only this, he had promised to enter Singha Durbar with a khukuri if he did not give him 8 lakh land and would be murdered.A video of him making the remarks went viral. He was later arrested by the police.
