Kathmandu. The government has started distributing land ownership certificates (land ownership certificates) to landless squatters. The government has started distributing land ownership certificates to landless squatters from Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality of Bardiya district. 

In the beginning, the government distributed land ownership certificates to 29 Dalit and landless squatters of Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-4. 

Pratibha Rawal, Minister for Land Management, Land Management, and General Administration, said that the government will give high priority to solve the problems of landless Dalits,landless landless landless and unorganized squatters in a long-term manner. 

She said that the government would now expedite the process of identifying the real landless squatters and distributing land ownership certificates to the real landless citizens.
