Kathmandu. Action will be taken against those who hide gas cylinders . The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has warned of action against those hiding the LPG cylinders for cooking gas.

Clarifying that there was no problem in the supply of gas in the market, the ministry warned of taking action against those who hide the gas and create an artificial shortage of gas.

Similarly, the ministry has also announced rewards to consumers who hide the gas, and provide information about the traders or dealers involved in black marketing.Spokesperson of the Ministry Netra Prasad Subedi informed about this at a press conference organized here today.

Subedi said that although the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) is importing and distributing more gas than usual, the problem has been created due to the increase in demand for and after the distribution of cylinders instead of .According to him, the NOC has been sending 132,000 LPG cylinders to the market on a daily basis.
