Kathmandu. The government is preparing to operate Biratnagar Jute Mill. The government is preparing to reopen Biratnagar Jute Mill following the Hetauda Textile Industry.

The government has formed a task force comprising experts tostudy the financial, technical and legal condition of the Biratnagar Jute Mill for the operation of the Biratnagar Jute Mill.A secretary-level meeting held on Monday formed the taskforce. 

The task force formed under the coordination of Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies will study the physical infrastructure, condition of machines and equipment, the condition of assets and liabilities and the overall condition of the mill. 

The task force will have to submit a report on the possible alternatives and necessarystrategies for the reopening of the jute mill within a month.
