Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Army has so far rescued 12 people from flood-hit areas in Bhotekoshi district. They were rescued by an army helicopter.

According to the Nepal Army, so far 12 people have been rescued including 6 from Syaphrubesi, 2 from Mailung and 4 from Dhunche.

A total of 12 helicopters including four from the Nepal Army and eight from private companies have been deployed in the area. The Nepal Army Medical Team has been providing emergency treatment at the No 1 Military Training Centre in Trishuli.
