Kathmandu. Ambika Devi Sangraula, a member of the Labour and Culture Party, commented that the failure of the budget for the current fiscal year has been visible since the first month itself. She made the remarks while speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday.
Lawmaker Sangraula said that the reluctance of businessmen to take loans and invest despite having sufficient liquidity in the banking system is a sign of distrust of the government’s economic policy.“Why is no one willing to take a loan to invest when there is so much liquidity in the banking system? Do businessmen have no faith in the economic policies of the government with a two-thirds majority?”
She also accused Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle, who claims to know 36 countries, that he does not know his own country.
She has also claimed that Rs 600 billion has sunk in the capital market since the formation of the government.“Rs 600 billion has sunk in the capital market after the formation of the present government. But despite all this problem, the Finance Minister is busy playing lottery. ” Sangraula said.
She also accused Finance Minister Wagle of playing lottery instead of solving the problems seen in the capital market.
