Kathmandu. Shubham Health Care Products Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of diaper and baby care products of Australian brand IBV Australia in Nepal. Ltd. has donated a cash amount of Rs 50 lakh to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the relief of the flood victims.
The company said it raised funds from the sale of IBB products with the aim of helping the families affected by the floods. According to the company, the cheque was handed over to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle.
At the cheque handover program, Beauty Kumari Saraf, Managing Director of IBB Nepal, said that she was proud to be able to help the affected families during the disaster. She claimed that she was able to raise Rs 50 lakh in just three days due to the support and trust of the consumers, retailers and dealers who buy the products of IBB.
She expressed her gratitude to the consumers who purchased the products of IBV and said that it would not have been possible to raise the relief amount without their support and cooperation.
According to Saraf, Rs 50 lakh has been deposited in the relief fund on the basis of the amount spent by the consumers on the purchase of IBV products in the last three days. She said that this support is not only the contribution of the company but also the joint contribution of the consumers, retailers and dealers.
‘This donation is not made by IVB, it is done by you. Everyone has a share in it, the hard work of the retailer, the trust of the dealer. We have made this possible by adding that trust,” she said.
The company said that it has also launched relief operations by connecting its customers, retailers and dealer networks with the aim of helping the affected families during the disaster. Saraf said that she is proud to be the facilitator of this support campaign.
