Kathmandu. There is a problem in the supply of gas after the road collapsed due to the flood in Bhotekoshi. After the flood erosed the road, there is a shortage of essential commodities including LP gas for cooking in Kathmandu due to the landslide at Krishnabhir in Dhading.

The Prithvi Highway has been completely obstructed since Sunday after the landslide at Krishnabhir swept away the road.

Due to the obstruction, the vehicles carrying gas and petroleumproducts coming to Kathmandu have been stopped in the middle of the road. As a result, the gas supply in the Valley has been affected.

Due to the obstruction of the road, the crowd of people has increased to buy gas at various outlets in Kathmandu. There has been a long queue of people for gas for the past five days at the official outlet of Nepal Gas in Anamnagar.
