Kathmandu. Rajdhani Model College in Old Baneshwor, Kathmandu has announced scholarships for the students affected by the Bhotekoshi floods in Rasuwa. The college has announced a special scholarship scheme for the students who passed class 12 affected by the floods.

According to the college, special scholarships will be provided to the students of flood-affected families in the BBA, BHM and BCSIT programs to ensure that they are not deprived of higher education opportunities. The college has said that 10 students will be provided full scholarships under the scheme. The total cost of this special scholarship scheme is more than Rs 70 lakh, according to the college.

According to the college, the scholarship program has been introduced to help students who are facing financial and family problems due to floods to continue their higher education.

Rajdhani Model College has come up with the scholarship scheme with the message ‘Don’t let the journey of higher education stop, we are together’.
