Kathmandu. The flash flood in Budhigandaki has damaged 4 hydropower projects. The flood on Sunday morning caused damages to Budhi Gandaki Hydropower Project, Dobhan Khola Hydropower, Khola Hydropower Project and Machha Khola Hydropower Project.

Budhi Gandaki Hydropower Project has been the most affected by the floods. The main camp area of the 341 MW project, which is being promoted by Times Energy Pvt. Ltd. , has been washed away.

Theflood has swept away some houses and a bailey bridge at the camp of Dobhan Khola Hydropower Project and a bailey bridge of {{}30.91 Khola Hydropower Project.

Similarly, the flood has also damaged the access road of the 16 MW Machha Khola Hydropower Project and the bridge leading to the project site. However , the exact details of the damage caused to the projects and the estimate of the reconstruction of the project are yet to be received.
