Kathmandu. The floods have swept away six bridges and left at least 10 people out of contact. The floods have swept away two motorables and four suspension bridges, said Assistant Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma.

According to Sharma, the concrete bridges linking Arughat and Tripurasundari of Dhading and Soti and Manbu of Arughat have been washed away.

The flood has also swept away the bailey bridge connecting Dharche Rural Municipality 1 and 3. Similarly, the suspension bridge connecting Machichola and Keraunja, the bridge connecting the vertical ladder and Jagat at Chumnubri and the suspension bridge connecting Ghattekhola and Film of Sirdibas have also been washed away.

The flood has also swept away about 35 houses in Chumnubri Rural Municipality-3, Paiyun and Bagar. The flood has also caused damage to Jagat, Salleri, Dobhan and Ghattekhola villages.
