Universal Power Company Limited has announced plans to distribute a 9 percent dividend to its shareholders. The decision was made at the board meeting held on Poush 8, based on the profit of the last fiscal year.

The company has proposed to distribute a total of 9 percent dividends, including 8.55 percent bonus shares and 0.45 percent cash dividends, for tax purposes. The proposed dividend will be distributed to the shareholders only after approval at the upcoming annual general meeting.

The company has also invited the shareholders to the general meeting on February 29 for the approval of the proposed dividend and other agenda items. This is the first time the company has announced the dividend after the IPO release, and the shareholders are excited about the announcement.
