Kathmandu. The manager of Gautam Shree Cooperatives has been arrested. Rabin Bista, manager of Gautam Shree Cooperatives based in Kuleshwor, Kathmandu, has been arrested.

A team from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested 41-year-old manager Bista of Phidim municipality-4 in Panchthar district from Kathmandu on Sunday.

Bista has been sent to the District Police Range, Kathmandu for further investigation, according to the Crime Investigation Office. He will be remanded in custody from the district court for further investigation, the office said.

Gautam Shree Cooperatives have been accused of cheating savers of more than Rs 5 billion.
