Kathmandu. Universities will not provide rooms, buildings, and land to student organizations to run their offices. The decision was taken by the vice-chancellors of all universities in the presence of Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel.

It has also been decided not to keep the banners, flags, graffiti and other materials of the student unions inside the university premises.

Similarly, it has been decided to prepare a three-story proposal for the repeal of the rules if any legal provisions have been made in the University Act regarding the political student unions and immediately submit it to the Ministry of Education through the Commission.

It has been decided to dissolve the student union from the university and develop and establish a mechanism to work for the welfare of the students, the Student Council/Voice of Students or similar students.
