Kathmandu. In the past 24 hours, 1,806 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. A total of Rs 1,876,504 has been deposited in the state treasury through this.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, action was taken against 77 for drunken driving, 162 for ride-sharing violation, 106 for traffic code violators and 88 for speeding.

Similarly, action taken for flouting lane discipline is 84, for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 77 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 111 for one-way driving and 1,062 for violating other traffic rules.
