Dried chillies are being sold at Rs 450 per kg, what is the price of other vegetables?

Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the wholesale price of agricultural products for today.

According to the committee, tomato (Indian) has been sold at Rs 95 per kg, tomato (local) at Rs 60 per kg, tomato small (Terai) at Rs 60 per kg, potato red at Rs 28 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 23 per kg and onion (Indian) at Rs 40 per kg.

Similarly, the price of carrot (local) has been increased at Rs 60 per kg, carrot (terai at Rs 35 per kg), cabbage (local) at Rs 35 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 60 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 30 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 66 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 80 per kg.

Similarly, beans (stems) Rs 130 per kg, matarkosa Rs 60 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 100 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 90 per kg, ghee beans (rajma) Rs 100 per kg, soybean beans Rs 170 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 60 per kg, gourd Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 90 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 75 per kg, jhinguni Rs 80 per kg. The price of cucumber has been fixed at Rs 80 per kg, ripe farsi at Rs 60 per kg, green farsi (lambcho) at Rs 40 per kg, green farsi (dallo) at Rs 50 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 75 per kg, okra at Rs 90 per kg, pindalu at Rs 50 per kg and squash at Rs 60 per kg.

Likewise, mustard has been fixed at Rs 80 per kg, spinach at Rs 100 per kg, Chamsur at Rs 120 per kg, mustard at Rs 35 per kg, fenugreek greens at Rs 100 per kg, green onion at Rs 150 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 260 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 450 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 320 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.

Cucumber is Rs 500 per kg, niguro is Rs 100 per kg, broccoli is Rs 110 per kg, beetroot is Rs 65 per kg, Sajeevan Rs 150 per kg, koirala is Rs 350 per kg, red cabbage is Rs 60 per kg, cumin greens is Rs 100 per kg, parsley is Rs 300 per kg, celery is Rs 120 per kg, fennel greens are Rs 100 per kg, mint is Rs 110 per kg, ganteradi is Rs 50 per kg, tamarind is Rs 180 per kg. The price of copper has been fixed at Rs 150 per kg, topu at Rs 150 per kg and gundruk at Rs 300 per kg.

Apple (bag) Rs 250 per kg, apple (fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana Rs 220 per dozen, lemon Rs 380 per kg, pomegranate Rs 500 per kg, grapes (green) Rs 300 per kg, grapes (black) Rs 450 per kg, watermelon green Rs 45 per kg, pineapple Rs 250 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 80 per kg, cucumber (hybrid) Rs 50 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 70 per kg, jackfruit tree (local) Rs 70 per kg. Similarly, pear (Chinese) has been fixed at Rs 250 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 80 per kg, dry fruits (Indian) at Rs 90 per kg and avocado at Rs 800 per kg.
