Kathmandu. The government has announced to amend the constitution. President Ram Chandra Poudel presented the policies and programmes for the coming fiscal year in a joint session of the House of Representatives and National Assembly on Monday. 

In order to ensure equal ownership of all classes, regions and communities according to the policy and program, a debate paper will be prepared on the basis of dialogue and cooperation with the political parties and the constitution amendment paper {{}} will be prepared . 

The government has formed a task force under the leadership of Prime Minister’s Political Advisor Asim Shah to prepare a constitution amendment paper .The task force has already started its work.
