Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for today.
According to the committee, tomato big (Indian) has been fixed at Rs 90 per kg, tomato small (local) at Rs 70 per kg, tomato small (Indian) at Rs 90 per kg, tomato small (Indian) at Rs 65 per kg, tomato small (Terai) at Rs 65 per kg, potato red at Rs 28 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 22 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 25 per kg and onion dried (Indian) at Rs 40 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) has been sold at Rs 60 per kg, cabbage (local) at Rs 35 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 65 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 20 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 65 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 75 per kg.
Similarly, beans (stems) Rs 110 per kg, maize beans Rs 100 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 120 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 100 per kg, ghee beans (rajma) Rs 100 per kg, soybean beans Rs 170 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 80 per kg, gourd Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 80 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 80 per kg, Chichindo Rs 55 per kg. Likewise, cucumber has been sold at Rs 100 per kg, ripe farsi at Rs 60 per kg, green farsi (lambcho) at Rs 60 per kg, green farsi (dallo) at Rs 50 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 75 per kg, okra at Rs 80 per kg, pindalu at Rs 50 per kg and squash at Rs 55 per kg.
Likewise, mustard has been fixed at Rs 100 per kg, spinach at Rs 100 per kg, mustard at Rs 35 per kg, Chamsur greens at Rs 100 per kg, fenugreek greens at Rs 80 per kg, green onion at Rs 140 per kg, mushroom at Rs 220 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 450 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 320 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Cucumber is sold at Rs 450 per kg, broccoli at Rs 140 per kg, beetroot at Rs 65 per kg, niguro at Rs 80 per kg, Sajeevan at Rs 120 per kg, red cabbage at Rs 60 per kg, cumin greens at Rs 130 per kg, parsley at Rs 260 per kg, celery at Rs 110 per kg, fennel greens at Rs 90 per kg, mint at Rs 100 per kg, ganteradish at Rs 50 per kg, tamarind at Rs 180 per kg and copper at Rs 150 per kg. The price of tofu has been fixed at Rs 150 per kg and gundruk at Rs 300 per kg.
Apple (bag) Rs 250 per kg, apple (Fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 200 per dozen, banana malbhog Rs 220 per dozen, lemon Rs 360 per kg, pomegranate Rs 500 per kg, grapes (green) Rs 300 per kg, grapes (black) Rs 450 per kg, watermelon green Rs 45 per kg, pineapple Rs 250 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 70 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 35 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 35 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 75 per kg. Pears (Chinese) have been fixed at Rs 250 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 90 per kg, Indian papaya at Rs 90 per kg and avocado at Rs 800 per kg.
Similarly, ginger costs Rs 160 per kg, dried chillies Rs 450 per kg, chillies Rs 90 per kg, chillies green (bullet) Rs 80 per kg, fish chillies Rs 70 per kg, sheep chillies Rs 70 per kg, green garlic Rs 200 per kg, green coriander Rs 140 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 200 per kg, garlic (Nepali) dried (Nepali) Rs 120 per kg, Chhapi (dried) Rs 150 per kg. Fresh fish has been fixed at Rs 340 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 310 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg.
